Our world needs urgent change, join PADI's Project Aware specialty.

Every time we go to the beach for a walk or near a body of water we complain about the garbage we see there. We know that there are companies in charge of this, but we rarely take the option of actively participating in leaving these places clean.

With PADI's Project Aware specialty ( Dive Against Debris ), we're going to take action. When you find yourself in a place that has been contaminated by trash (plastics, nets, sieves, etc.), start collecting as much as you can in bags that are biodegradable, then classify them according to their nature, leave them in a place where the cleaning companies can pick them up or handle them properly. Send a report to Project Awarer with this information.

If you wish to obtain credit for this work, please review the Projec Aware specialty ( Dive Against Debris ). Once you have read and completed the review, one of our instructors will contact you to verify that all the requirements for this PADI specialty have been met. A certification PIC will be sent to Projec Aware. The costs of the certification will be assumed by the student, part of this value will go to the Projec Aware foundation to support this or other environmental protection work.
